Small Business Cohort Group

The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 Small Business Cohort Program is launching in May. The program assists small business owners who want to take their business to the next level and will ultimately contribute to the economic vitality of the Paducah-McCracken County region.

The Chamber’s 2022 Small Business Cohort Program provides participants with the tools to assist them to advance their business by studying operations, financial management, marketing and sales, human resources, business strategy development, access to capital, and contract development.

The Cohort Program is in its second year and is open to all small business owners in Western KY and Southern IL with openings available for 15 to 20 participants. The program is scheduled to begin June 1 and run through October. It will assist small business owners and startups looking to expand or needing assistance to stabilize and grow their business. The cohort will use internationally recognized author Mike Michalowicz’s  book, “Fix this Next,” as the basis of their study.

The Presenting Sponsors of the Cohort Program are Murray State University’s Center for Economic and Entrepreneurial Development and Paducah Bank. The Supporting Sponsor is West Kentucky Community and Technical College’s Workforce Solutions.
