Educators are on the front lines in preparing our youth to be part of our future workforce. This requires innovative thinking to guide students to the career pathway best suited for them. The Paducah Chamber wants to help educators gain first-hand knowledge to connect the dots from classroom to careers.

The Educator Externships Program is in its fourth year and we've received overwhelming support from all who attend. All educators including teachers, counselors, administrators, mentors and coaches will spend a day this summer learning about the high-demand jobs that are right here in Paducah and McCracken County. During the day-long externship, educators will gain hands-on experience and insight from employers that will help them better inform students about the academic opportunities and employability skills needed to be successful in the workplace.

This program is a part of the Paducah Chamber's Leadership Center.
