Leadership Paducah Project

LP Class Project

Leadership Paducah Class #39 has selected Fresh Start Village as the beneficiary of their class project for 2026. Fresh Start Village is Paducah Cooperative Ministry's transitional housing program for women and children. Each year, the Leadership Paducah class selects a non-profit organization to assist with any special need the organization may have above and beyond their usual services.

The Fresh Start Village Welcome Center is often the first space residents, donors, volunteers, and community partners experience when arriving at Fresh Start Village. The current building is outdated and does not reflect the care and support needed by the residents, especially the children. This project will ensure the space reflects the high-quality environment these residents deserve. The Welcome Center also currently serves as a community building that offers parenting and cooking classes, individual/group therapy, NA/AA meetings and so much more. It’s more than just a place where people gather. It’s a fresh start for women and children.

With your support, Fresh Start Village will undergo a transformational project to enhance the Welcome Center that serves as a community center.

Funds raised will be used to enhance the interior and exterior of the building including:

  • Vinyl Siding

  • Landscaping

  • Deck Construction

  • Shutters

  • Exterior Vinyl Fencing

  • Interior Kitchen Remodel

  • Overall Design Improvements

Our goal is to raise at least $100,000 to renovate the Welcome Center with an over due and much-needed facelift.
