DC Fly-In Trips

 Paducah Chamber's Annual DC Fly-In 

September 11 and 12, 2024

The region’s largest business advocacy organization, the Paducah Chamber is headed to the nation’s capital on September 11 and 12, with Presenting Sponsor Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership.

During this jam-packed two-day trip, we will meet with Members of Congress, federal officials and key federal agencies to share details on what’s important to our region’s business community and ensure our voice is heard.

The trip will officially begin on Wednesday, September 11 with small group meetings in the morning, followed by a group luncheon at Carmine’s Italian Restaurant, meetings in the afternoon at the Rayburn Office Building, and an afternoon reception sponsored by GEO Consultants at Clyde's of Gallery Place.  On Thursday, we will continue with group meetings all day at the Capitol Visitors Center and close with a Congressional Reception at the Capitol. 

There will be a night-time Capitol tour led by Cong. James Comer on Tuesday night, September 10 at approximately 7:30 p.m. for those who are arriving early. Registration details for this optional event will be released soon!

Every day we see the results of the work we do while in DC to represent our area. Sixty-five community and business leaders, as well as elected officials, joined us in DC in 2023. Due to limited space in some meeting rooms, we expect to reach our maximum capacity for the trip.
