The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce’s Power in Partnership Breakfast on July 9 will feature a “Salute to the Arts.” HUB International is the sponsor. The breakfast is one week later due to the July 4 holiday. The program will feature a panel centered around the arts in Paducah. Panelists include Ben Grimes, Market House Theatre; Alyssa Phares, Paducah Convention & Visitors Bureau, Bonnie Schrock, National Quilt Museum; and Brian Wilson, The Carson Center.

This event is held bi-annually and allows our arts organizations to have displays at the breakfast. Attendees are encouraged to come early to view the displays and meet with representatives of the various organizations.

The program will also feature the Leadership Paducah Class #39 check presentation to Fresh Start Village for their Welcome Center. The class has been raising funds these past few months to benefit this non-profit. Fresh Start Village, a program of Paducah Cooperative Ministry, was selected following a process by the class to allow all Chamber member non-profits to respond to a request for information. The class then narrowed it to several finalists, and each finalist was given an opportunity to meet with the class and provide more information about their request, funds needed, and how it would benefit their organization and the community. Fresh Start Village was chosen as the recipient to enhance the interior and exterior of their Welcome Center.

The breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Paducah-McCracken County Convention Center. Pre-registration is required by Monday, July 6 at 2 p.m. at paducahchamber.org or by calling 270-443-1746. Power Card holders do not have to pre-register. The cost is $25.
