The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce’s February 5th Power in Partnership Breakfast will feature Paducah native SaMee Burrage Harden. The breakfast is sponsored by the McCracken County Chapter of the NAACP and the McCracken County Community Career Endowment and also honors Black History Month.
The breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Paducah-McCracken County Convention Center. Pre-registration is required by Monday, February 2nd at 2 p.m. at paducahchamber.org or by calling 270-443-1746. Power Card holders do not have to pre-register. The cost is $25.
SaMee Burrage Harden is a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. Her parents are the late Sam and Barbara Burrage, who were both very active in the Paducah community for many years. Currently, Harden is Lead Counsel of Community Trust for Airbnb and advises internal clients on complex, high-impact trust and safety issues. She previously served as a White House Fellow and senior U.S. Department of Justice official. Before the White House Fellowship, she worked at Facebook/Meta as a Data Privacy and Public Policy Manager. Prior to that, Harden was a federal prosecutor, where she specialized in charging child exploitation and human trafficking offenses and won several awards for her dedication and hard work. Harden is an alumna of the: 1) Harvard Kennedy School of Government where she was a fully funded Equity Fellow at the Center for Public Leadership; 2) Harvard Business School; 3) Northwestern Pritzker School of Law - where she is currently an adjunct professor; 4) Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan; 5) American University; and 6) University of Louisville.
