The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce’s January 8th Power in Partnership Breakfast will feature the annual "State of the City and County" with Paducah Mayor George Bray and McCracken County Judge-Executive Craig Clymer as the featured speakers. The breakfast is sponsored by the Paducah-McCracken County Joint Sewer Agency.
The breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Paducah-McCracken County Convention Center. Pre-registration is required by Monday, January 5 by 2 p.m. at paducahchamber.org or by calling 270-443-1746. Power Card holders do not have to pre-register. The cost is $25.
Mayor George Bray is the 40th Mayor of Paducah and in 2024 was re-elected to his second term—marking the first time a Paducah mayor has been re-elected since 2008. Mayor Bray currently serves as Chairman of the Paducah/McCracken County Industrial Development Authority (IDA), Vice Chairman of the Paducah Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), and is a member of Greater Paducah Economic Development and the Paducah Area Community Reuse Organization Boards. He also serves on the Kentucky Nuclear Economic Development Authority (KNEDA), which focuses on expanding the development and advancement of nuclear energy statewide.
Judge Clymer is in his second term as McCracken County Judge-Executive. He serves as Chair of the Paducah Area Community Reuse Organization Board and on the board of Greater Paducah Economic Development. He previously served as McCracken Circuit Judge from 1998 to 2017. When he retired as Circuit Judge, he joined the law firm of Boehl Stopher & Graves, LLP. He also served as McCracken District Judge from 1993 to 1997 and as a staff attorney for the United States District Court from 1988 to 1993.
