Kenny Boyd, President of Baptist Health Paducah, has been elected to serve as the 2026 Chair of the Board for the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce. Susan Ybarzabal, who was Chair in 2025, and Paducah Market President for Paducah Bank, will serve as Immediate Past Chair. Todd Buchanan, Program Manager for GEO Consultants Corporation, has been elected as Chair-elect.
Kenny has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare. Just before joining Baptist Health, he was chief operating officer for Maury Regional Health, a non-profit regional hospital system in Columbia, Tennessee.
Boyd has served in a number of leadership roles during his career, including president and CEO of McDonough District Hospital in Malcomb, Illinois; CEO of Girard Medical Center in Girard, Kansas; and CEO of Dickenson Community Hospital in Clintwood, Virginia. Raised in Kentucky, he earned a master’s degree in health services management from Webster University in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Louisville.
