The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for local businesses and citizens to be recognized during the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting and Business Celebration on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Paducah-McCracken County Convention Center. This year's event also celebrates the Bicentennial of McCracken County.

Nominations are being accepted for the Chamber’s annual awards including:

• Business of the Year
• Small Business of the Year
• Entrepreneur of the Year
• Non-Profit of the Year
• Citizen of the Year
• Summit Award
• Chamber Volunteer of the Year
• Leadership Alumnus of the Year

The deadline for nominations is Friday, December 13 at 5 p.m. Learn more about the award criteria and submit nominations at paducahchamber.org.  All awards may not be presented.

Young Leader of the Year award

The Paducah Sun, in partnership with the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce, is also seeking nominations for the area's best Young Leaders.

Nominees should be between the ages of 25-40; live or work in McCracken County; and have made a difference in 2024 within their profession and community.

The Young Leader of the Year will receive a $1,000 scholarship for professional development. The deadline for nominations for the Young Leader Award is December 13. For information and to receive a nomination form, send an email to: youngleaders@paducahsun.com or make your nomination online HERE. 

Finalists will be featured in a January 2025 issue of The Paducah Sun. The winner will be announced during the Paducah Chamber’s Annual Meeting and Business Celebration on January 31, 2025, at the Paducah-McCracken County Convention Center. A profile of the award winner will be featured in The Sun in February.
