The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Membership and Total Resource campaign ended with a total of 106 new members recruited to the Chamber and various new sponsorships. The results were announced at a Campaign Victory Party at The 1857 Hotel and sponsored by Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB). Even though the Chamber accepts new members all year, a time is set aside every fall for the annual Membership Campaign for a more focused approach by volunteers.
“Our volunteers work really hard on behalf of the Chamber during this annual campaign,” said Susan Ybarzabal, Campaign Chair and Chair-Elect of the Paducah Chamber Board of Directors. “We were excited to have a new structure for this year’s campaign that also focused on networking and relationship building within industries. Not only is our Chamber stronger because of our campaign, but so are our member businesses. We are very appreciative of our volunteers, our membership, and our leadership.”
“This year our volunteers actively recruited new members and sponsorships for some of our upcoming programs and events. Some of those programs are now sold out as a result of this campaign,” said Sandra Wilson, Chamber President/CEO.
The top volunteer producer for the campaign was Lisa Lauck with Lauck Marketing Agency, who recruited 21 new members. Second place individual award went to Rebecca Ferch with Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership; third place was Jeremiah White with Swift & Staley; fourth place was Reis Driver with Baptist Health Paducah; and fifth place was Whitney Walker with West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
The Health Care team, with Team Captains Felicia Cooper (Mercy Health – Lourdes Hospital) and Reis Driver (Baptist Health Paducah), earned the “traveling trophy” award for Overall Team Winner. The Industrial team captained by Rebecca Ferch (Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership) and Jeremiah White (Swift & Staley) was the second place team, and the third place team was Financial Services with Will Cox (CFSB) and Austin Smith (Paducah Bank) as captains.
