Each year the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce holds an Annual Membership and Total Resource Campaign. These few weeks are set aside by the Chamber with a team of about 100 volunteers to reach out in the community to businesses that may not be a member to ask them to join.
This year’s campaign Chair is Susan Ybarzabal, Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB) McCracken County Market President, and current Chair-Elect of the Paducah Chamber Board of Directors. Ybarzabal will become the Chamber Board Chair in January 2025.
She has been active with the Chamber for many years and most recently served as the Vice Chair of Membership and Marketing, leading the Chamber Connectors. She is also a graduate of Leadership Paducah Class #14.
“I’m excited to lead the campaign as Chair,” said Ybarzabal. “If you are interested in getting more involved in the Chamber and in the community, we’d love to have you join us. New members joining during the campaign are eligible for some special new member perks.”
Ybarzabal recruited 10 Team Captains who then recruited team members to help with the campaign. Team captains are: Felicia Cooper, Mercy Health; Will Cox, Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB); Reis Driver, Baptist Health Paducah; Rebecca Ferch, Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership; Olivia Petter, Petter Business Systems; Austin Smith, Paducah Bank; Ben Stinnett; Bacon Farmer Workman/Marcum Engineering; Karami Underwood, Murray State University – Paducah regional campus; Whitney Walker, West Kentucky Community & Technical College; and Jeremiah White, Swift & Staley.
The Chamber accepts new members year-round, but the special membership campaign ends on August 22. The Campaign Celebration, sponsored by CFSB, open to all Chamber members with a special focus on the new members, will be held on August 29 at The 1857 Hotel from 4 – 6 p.m.
