The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Chamber Day in Frankfort on February 15, sponsored by Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc./Marcum Engineering, LLC. This one-day trip allows local business leaders to meet with Cabinet officials and members of the General Assembly and advocate for the Chamber’s top priorities.
The Paducah contingent will leave by bus early that morning and travel to Frankfort, where the day will begin with a legislative luncheon at The Foundry on Broadway. The Paducah Chamber will be joined by neighboring Chambers and local elected officials.
The Paducah group will then travel to the Capitol Annex for meetings featuring Cabinet leaders and legislators. Members of Leadership Paducah Class #36 will also participate in these meetings.
“It is very important for us to maintain our presence in Frankfort. The relationships that we build, and our advocacy efforts on behalf of our members and community, are critical,” said Sandra Wilson, Chamber President.
Later that night, the Chamber contingent will participate in a reception with local state legislators before returning to Paducah.
