The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce will hold their Annual Meeting and Business Celebration on September 9, at 6 p.m., at the Julian Carroll Convention Center. Presenting Sponsors are Mercy Health and CSI.

The program will celebrate another year of successes for Chamber members, honor award winners and celebrate how far the Paducah community has come during a trying time. It took “Tenacity and Teamwork,” and that’s the theme for 2021. The annual event, typically held in January, was postponed due to the pandemic.

“Spend an evening with us as we honor the resiliency of our community and the innovation and collaboration that united us during an unprecedented time, while celebrating a return to connecting with friends, colleagues and fellow Chamber members,” said Sandra Wilson, Paducah Chamber President. “We’ll take a look back at how we overcame trying times, recognize those who truly made a difference and set the state for going forward together in recovery.”

Local businesses and citizens will be recognized with the Chamber's annual awards including Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Chamber Volunteer of the Year and more. The Outstanding Non-Profit Award for health and human needs will be presented with a cash award from Paducah Bank and a second award to a non-profit arts and culture organization is sponsored by the Paducah CVB.

The Leadership Paducah Alumni Association will present the Outstanding Leadership Alum Award. The Paducah Sun Four Rivers Business Journal will recognize the top 10 finalists for the Young Leader of Western Kentucky Award and announce the winner who will receive a $1,000 scholarship for professional development.

2020 Board Chair Chad Beyer, i5 design group, will be recognized and ceremoniously pass the gavel to 2021 Board Chair Dr. Anton Reece, West Kentucky Community & Technical College. The 2020 and 2021 officers and Board Members will also be recognized.

The dinner will include strolling stations featuring a variety of food selections. The emcees are Todd Faulkner, WPSD Local 6, and Suzanne Farmer, Mercy Health.

Additional Platinum level sponsors include Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership and Swift & Staley. Corporate sponsorships or reserved tables are available by contacting the Chamber at, or calling 270-443-1746.
