The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting three webinars May 26 - 28. Topics range from the Primary Election changes with Secretary of State Mike Adams, Return to Work Guidance for Employers with the Cabinet for Education and Workforce Development, to a discussion on Paducah’s Tourism Industry Recovery.
Below is additional information on each webinar:
Tuesday, May 26, 2 p.m.: As part of the Chamber’s Public Policy Series, Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams will discuss the upcoming changes to the state’s June 23rd Primary Election. Secretary Adams will share information about how voters can be prepared to vote and about the steps Kentucky is taking to protect public health and the democratic process for the 2020 elections. Wednesday, May 27, 10 a.m.: Josh Benton, Deputy Secretary of the KY Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, will provide guidance for employers as employees are being called back to work. The Paducah Chamber is coordinating this call with the Murray-Calloway County Chamber, Christian County Chamber and Greater Owensboro Chamber.
Thursday, May 28, 10 a.m.: The Paducah Hospitality Association is sponsoring a webinar to discuss Paducah’s Travel and Tourism Industry: Driving Economic Recovery. The speakers are Hank Phillips, President/CEO, KY Travel Industry Association and Sara Osborne with MML&K Government Strategies. The Paducah Chamber is coordinating the webinar with the Paducah Convention and Visitors Bureau.
