The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce is offering several educational seminars during the month of May as part of their Small Business Recogntion. There is no charge to attend, they are open to the public and will be held at the Commerce Center in the Paducah Bank Community Room, 300 South 3rd Street. Wed., May 2, 8 a.m. – “Leveraging Digital Marketing for Your Brand” with presenter Todd Duff of Innovations Branding House. With a heavy emphasis on social media marketing and how to leverage it for branding, this session covers a list of items that cause businesses to both win and fail in the digital marketing world.
Wed., May 9, 8 a.m. – “Your Business from a Banker’s Perspective” with presenters from FNB Bank. FNB will have presenters to discuss: cash flow analysis; how business banking works; cash management; accounting; human resources and answer other questions from the attendees.
Wed., May 16, 8 a.m. – “Your Brand: Throwing Bricks or Building a Castle?” with presenter Jonas Neihoff of Socially Present. This seminar will share best practices for communicating with clarity, consistency and building a brand that packs your story into all your marketing communications. Topics will include strategies to build a strong brand, make the most of your marketing dollars and build a loyal following of brand ambassadors.
Wed., May 23, 8 a.m. – “Building Your Raving Fan Base” with presenter Lance Allison of Bacon Farmer Workman. This session will identify different aspects of individual personalities and how to interact with all. Topics will include: understanding personalities and relationships; communicating one on one; making the connection with better relationships; persuasive communication and the power of words; the power of empathy-connecting through stories; and thinking about your organization from "the why."
Wed., May 30, 8 a.m. – “Networking to Build Your Business” with presenters Mason DeJarnett of Fabick CAT and Daniel Jones of Strawberry Hills Pharmacy. Participants will learn ways to break out of your comfort zone and use networking to your advantage. Both presenters use networking skills daily to grow their business and service their customers. They will share their tricks and tips to help you learn how to build your business through networking.
