Youth LEAD 2017-2018 Class #7 Announced

The participants for the Youth LEAD class for 2017-18 have been selected.  Leadership Paducah Foundation, Inc. (LPF) and Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce that 27 area youth were selected to participate in Class #7.  Class members take part in a six-month educational course that began this month with an orientation retreat and concludes with their graduation at the Paducah Chamber Power in Partnership breakfast in April 2018.           

Youth LEAD is a program designed to develop and prepare students for future community support and leadership roles in Paducah-McCracken County. Youth LEAD targets high school juniors in Paducah Independent, McCracken County Public, and the private school systems. The students spend one day a month learning about human needs and service learning, communication and career development, business and economy, law and government, and health care in Paducah and McCracken County.

Community Christian Academy – Madeline Dulce-Maria Muir

 

McCracken County High School – Makayla Brindley, Madison Caylor, Dillion Dome, Hayden Faughn, Ryan Gillituk, Blake Hicks, Emma James, Prince Joshi, Haleigh McGregor, Bailey Newman, Jamine Perry, Luke Resser, Madison Smith, Chaney Troutman, Reem Turkmani, Samuel Vasseur

Paducah Tilghman High School – Chloe Bilak, Lance Butler, Keyshun Curry, Grace Denton, Grace Raber, Addie Rogers, Kate Rogers, Brooklyn Ross

 

St. Mary High School – Reid Courtney, Abbigayle Vannatter

The selection process includes leadership potential/skills, school activities, community and diversity among schools, ethnicity and gender.  Leadership Paducah Foundation, the alumni organization of Leadership Paducah, is a separate organization affiliated with the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce.
