The Leadership Paducah Foundation Board (LPFB) has established a scholarship to provide assistance to a graduate(s) of the Leadership Paducah program who is striving to further their education. The scholarship, known as The Leadership Paducah Foundation, Inc. Continuing Education Scholarship, will give first preference to someone who is attending West Kentucky Community and Technical College, Murray State University or the University of Kentucky College of Engineering-Paducah campus. Exceptions to those institutions may be considered.
“The Leadership Paducah Foundation Board is pleased to be able to launch this scholarship program,” said Jim Dudley, Board President. “We want to be able to assist our Leadership Paducah graduates with completing their degree or a specialized certification through providing this financial assistance.”
The first scholarship will be awarded for the spring semester of 2017 and the minimum amount to be given is $500. The complete guidelines and scholarship application are posted on the Paducah Chamber’s website at www.paducahchamber.org or at leadershippaducah.org. The deadline to apply is December 2.
