Several special activities have been added to the Paducah Chamber’s Business to Business EXPO on October 20 including three seminars and shredding services by Land Shark Shredding that are free and open to the general public. The Chamber’s EXPO will be held on Thursday, October 20 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Bill & Meredith Schroeder EXPO Center and is also free and open to the public. 

            The seminars will be held in the Madison Room and include:  

2:15 p.m. – Nissan of Paducah presents Benefits of Leasing a Vehicle – Learn from the pros!  Hear the advantages of leasing a vehicle vs buying one. Jamison Turney of Nissan of Paducah will be the presenter. 

3:15 p.m. – WKCTC presents Networking on LinkedIn - Are you active on LinkedIn? Interested in opening an account but not sure it’s right for you? Learn how to build a powerful network using this business networking site.  Blair Travis, Public Relations Specialist with WKCTC will be the presenter. 

4:15 p.m. – Paducah-River City Business & Professional Women’s Club presents Energizing Your Elevator Speech & Perfecting Your Pitch – Learn to effectively pitch your business, yourself and your projects with a few great phrases. The seminar is presented by Paducah-River City Business & Professional Women’s Club to celebrate and empower local businesswomen during Kentucky Professional Women’s Week. Kim Day will lead the program. 

            Additionally Land Shark Shredding will have a truck in the parking lot available for shredding of materials. Items they can be shred include paper, magazines, newspaper, flyers, brochures, folders, hanging folders, paper clips, staples, rubber bands, and phone books. 

            Flu shots will be available during the EXPO by Quick Care of Four Rivers Internal Medicine and Stevens Aircraft will have a helicopter on display. There will also be samples of food and products available from local restaurants during the show.      

More than 70 local businesses are participating in the Paducah Chamber’s Business to Business EXPO with presenting sponsor Nissan of Paducah. Other row sponsors of the EXPO include ATMOS Energy, Dialog Telecommunications, Payment Plus, SilkWorm and Supply Solutions.

            From 4 to 6 p.m. a Mix & Mingle will be held with free refreshments served from participating Chamber restaurants. Door prizes include two round trip air tickets from Paducah to Chicago on SkyWest Airlines, a YETI products package and additional from the vendors.
