Applications for the 2016-17 Leadership Paducah program will be available beginning May 2. The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce coordinates the annual leadership program. Applications will be available on the Chamber’s website, paducahchamber.org, or by contacting the Chamber at info@paducahchamber.org. The completed applications are due to the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce by 5 p.m. on May 27. Established in 1984, this upcoming class will mark the 30^th year. The program begins in August with an overnight retreat and continues through May.   

Leadership Paducah is a professional development experience that fosters an in-depth understanding of Paducah and McCracken County. In the monthly day-long sessions, participants will learn about the community through hands-on experiences and visits to see more about local government, industry, tourism, education, history, health, transportation and education sectors. Classes include enrichment sessions to develop the leadership potential of men and women in the area. Individuals who live or work in the Paducah-McCracken County area are eligible to apply. 

Selection of class participants is conducted by a committee representing the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Leadership Paducah Foundation Board of Directors.
