In celebration of October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce Business Education Partnership (BEP), in conjunction with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), recently recognized 23 area employers and service providers. Swift and Staley served as the luncheon sponsor.

The event was held to recognize local employers and service providers for their cooperation and teamwork with the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation’s (KY OVR) Job Placement program. Several service providers were awarded certificates of appreciation for providing outstanding service to KY OVR’s consumers as those individuals prepare for the workforce. Businesses who have utilized KY OVR’s referrals when filling job openings were also awarded certificates of appreciation.
