About the Chamber
The Paducah Chamber is the region’s largest business advocacy organization and one of the largest Chambers in the state. Through our almost 1,000 members, we bring together the collective vision of our area businesses, community partners, elected officials, young professionals, youth, educators, non-profit organizations and engaged citizens to work cooperatively for the future of our community. From the heart of our city to every corner of the region, we’re working to create more successful businesses, work opportunities, and a better life for our citizens. It’s a team effort. By being a member of the Chamber, you are supporting those efforts.
The Chamber’s strength in this community, and with state and federal issues, rests solely on its members and their investment in the community and our organization. Be involved with the Chamber, buy local, and support our members in order to keep the Paducah/McCracken County area a growing and thriving community. Through our networking events, marketing opportunities, advocacy efforts and many other membership perks, we believe it is the best investment you can make to attain success.
In 2011 the Paducah Chamber was awarded the Chamber of the Year by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives. The Paducah Chamber also is a 4-Star Accredited Chamber by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. This prestigious honor puts us among the top 10% of chambers nationwide. We have a close partnership with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce with the Chamber President serving as an ex-officio board member of the Kentucky Chamber Board of Directors.
Through the Chamber's business advocacy efforts, more than 100 million dollars in state and federal funding has been appropriated to McCracken County by the Kentucky General Assembly and Congress since 1990.
The Chamber has numerous programs benefiting our members. While some programs assist and promote business, other programs help develop local business leaders into community leaders. More than 800 Chamber members have graduated from the Leadership Paducah Program since its inception in 1984.
