Paducah Chamber Facts
The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce is the fifth largest Chamber in the state, with more than 1,000 business members. Through the Chamber’s business advocacy efforts, more than 100 million dollars in state and federal funding has been appropiated to McCracken County by the Kentucky General Assembly and Congress since 1990. Our Chamber is made up of nearly 90 percent small business, with the majority of those having four or fewer employees. The Chamber has numerous programs benefiting our members. While some programs assist and promote business, other programs help develop local business leaders into community leaders. More than 500 Chamber members have graduated from the Leadership Paducah Program, since its inception in 1984. In November 2007, we were awarded a 4-Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. This prestigous honor puts us aming the top 10% of chambers nationwide. While a total of 19 chambers were awarded some level of accreditation, we were among only five receiving this distinguished 4-Star rating.
