Paducah Chamber Annual Meeting
The Paducah Chamber will hold its 73rd Annual Meeting January 19th, 2012 at the Julian Carroll Convention Center with Mick Fleming, President of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives as the keynote speaker.
The Chamber honors several notable community members with its annual awards:
- Leadership Alumni of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- EntrePaducah's Entrepreneur of the Year
- Business of the Year
Outgoing board chair Glen Anderson (Paducah Water) will pass the gavel to Tom Garrett (P & L Railway), 2012 board chair.
Major accomplishments for 2011 include strong business advocacy with trips to Washington, DC and Frankfort to lobby for priority project funding; Paducah Middle School funding; support for the joint City and County Commission on merged government; improved member services and successful events like the Golf Scramble, Trade Show, Membership Campaign and Annual Meeting.
